MCT2 Motivation for Mrs. Johnson's 4th grade class

Our class in front of the sign that we made for Mrs. Johnson's class!
This week our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders took the MCT2! Each 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade class was
adopted by a K, 1st, or 2nd grade class. Our class had the adopted the BEST 4th grade class...Mrs. Johnson's Class! We did so many things for them. At the beginning of the week, we made a sign for the class. We made every student in Mrs. Johnson's Class a card! They were so cute!

The day before the MCT2 test, we gave each of the students in Mrs. Johnson's class a ziploc bag of cookies with a note that said, "You are a SMART (S-Stay focused, M-Mark the right choice, A-Always do your best, R-Recheck your work, T-Take your time) cookie!"

Ms. Strum's students giving each one of Mrs. Johnson's students a treat the day before the test! We wanted to give them a special treat as they reviewed for the MCT2 that they would take over the next 3 days! Over the next 3 days, we gave them pencils, highlighters, erasers, and candy with motivational sayings.

Look at those girls enjoying their ice cream!

Having a GREAT time in Mrs. Johnson's room!

Mrs. Johnson's Class worked so hard on their test that we surprised them with an Ice Cream Sundae Party! We had a great time with Mrs. Johnson's class. WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU!
